PART
4 POINTS FOR PRAYER- Prayer is a vital part of our daily
lives. Here in London and at KURC we need prayer just as much as anyone else as
it is only by God’s grace that our ministry thrives. So if you wish to pray
for myself and the various ministries at KURC, as well as wider issues in London
I would greatly appreciate it. Prayer points: -
More resources and volunteers for our
brigades as they expand. - For a stop to knife and gun crime among young people. This
is now a daily occurrence in London with the current total of knife and gun
crime related death soaring above that of the total in 2007. -
For a stop to child poverty in London. 1
in 4 children aged 0-16 yrs old in London live in poverty having to live without
basics such as food, water, heat and sufficient clothing. -
For the continued blessings and encouragement of the 11:30
service at KURC. -
For all the unemployed within the city and for Boris Johnson and
his leadership as he deals with the current economic situation here in London. -
For funds and support at KURC to be able to install a shower for
the homeless on its premises. (We
often have homeless people in Kingston looking for a place to wash themselves
and at KURC we want to witness to them via providing them with a shower to use.) -
For God’s continued blessing and guidance on my life as I face
newer and tougher challenges in ministry and studies on a daily basis. I hope this blog has been really
interesting and encouraging. If you want to keep up with all that happens with
myself down here in Kingston then look out for regular blogs on the group
website. Thank you all for your continued support and prayer, I really
appreciate it. So until my next blog God Bless CHRIS
