Guisborough - East Cleveland URC

Guisborough URC is located on the north side of Westgate, which is the high street of what is essentially a market town. The present building dates from 1811 but the church, as a body of people, goes back to 1798. We have a small faithful congregation, drawn mostly from the Guisborough area, worshipping here and involved in the community through Guisborough Churches Together and the ecumenical organisation known as the Bridge Association. Services are held each Sunday morning, with Junior Church at the same time. On Tuesdays a Bible Study group meets, in members' homes, at noon. Every Thursday there is a Coffee Morning followed by a ‘Quiet Time’ prayer meeting.
