Teesside South East Mission Partnership

The churches of the East Cleveland Group belong to a wider grouping known as a Mission Partnership.

Mission Partnerships are groupings of churches and missions which support and pray for each other in their mission.

The Teesside South East Partnership encourages not only the work of the churches within the East Cleveland Group but also those within the Teesdale Group.  The Teesdale Group of churches consists of St. Columba’s in Billingham, St. Andrew's & St. George's in Stockton and Thornaby Mission.  We also support industrial mission through the work of Tees Valley Ministry.

The Partnership has a Leadership Team made of clergy and lay folk and we also have Partnership gatherings from time to time. Gatherings can be for prayer days or to learn and build ourselves up for mission.

We are Mission Partnerships because we are to follow the Five Marks of Mission which are:

This we seek to do by sharing resources and by encouraging and praying for each other, which makes us a Partnership.  But within that, each church or organisation is to engage in mission within its own context.
